In 2005, CALZAMEDI created a new custom footwear department under the direction of a Senior Ortho-Prosthetic Technician, equipping it with the latest technology:
- 3D scanner to take the exact measurements of the foot.
- 3D design program to obtain and adjust patterns digitally.
- Automatic cutting machine and laser.
- Lasting machine.
CALZAMEDI digitizes the entire manufacturing process, this leads to an optimization of the work in order to offer more accuracy and reliability to the product.
